INFORMATION

The public realm that surrounds us in our everyday lives should be a place of possibilities. It should enable individual development, encourage creativity and provide space for self-determined interaction and cooperation.

Unfortunately public and media space is strongly occupied by advertisement, politics, history and art. Along with increasing privatisation and numerous restrictions it allows only a very limited scope of action that very often is insufficient regarding an individual development.

Because of that fact we set up and provide spaces that are free from the manipuative occupation of relics from former times and today's media. These spaces shall be available around-the-clock and open to public and individual purposes.

The project points out the necessity of blank spaces and recesses in public space and sensitises the awareness for an often gaplessly occupied urban structure.
